It has been a while since I toured the Riviera Maya area of Mexico, so I headed down to take a quick tour of some favorite resorts. In my short 4 night stay, I toured 10 all-inclusive resorts, 6 of which are adult only. My host resort was El Dorado Royale, which prides itself on its Gourmet Luxury Inclusive property. It has a culinary theatre on-site, Fuentes, which offers an open kitchen with a full kitchen show. The gourmet performance includes a Sommelier to hand select the wines that will enhance your meal.
The El Dorado Casitas are next door and offer an extra touch of privacy as you can select a castia with a private infinity pool or swim out. For true seclusion, you could stay at their sister property Eldorado Maroma. It features the first (and only) over-water-bungalows in the Riviera Maya.
