Once European travel ramps back up, you will now be a be able to complete the US Customs requirements in another country. Brussels joins 16 other foreign airports that are in the this program. Travelers who use the program do not have to clear customs or go through any TSA security inspections when they arrive in the U.S. The agreement was implemented today by U.S. Customs and Border Protection Pre-clearance operations at Brussels Airport.
Also in the works are El Dorado International Airport in Bogota, Colombia, and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
Currently, pre-clearance operations are offered in the following locations: Dublin and Shannon in Ireland; Aruba; Freeport and Nassau in The Bahamas; Bermuda; Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; and Calgary, Toronto, Edmonton, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver, Victoria, and Winnipeg in Canada.
